Guerrilla Press Welcoming Alderman Bennett Lawson, Indivisible Wrigleyville, & Ross Berman
Chicago's 44th Ward Alderman, Indivisible Wrigleyville, and the folk city hustler will join Guerrilla Press this Sunday, February 1, at The Annoyance Theatre
This Sunday, February 1, Guerrilla Press returns to Chicago’s world-famous improv comedy theatre, The Annoyance, for their latest live podcast recording and community activism night!
Before and after this week’s show, representatives from Indivisible Chicago Wrigleyville will be available in the lobby to interact with attendees and help them find ways to stay politically active during the crucial 2026 midterm year.
Hosts and comedians EJ Cameron and Nick Hausman will kicK off the live podcast portion of the evening with their no-holds-barred takes on the top headlines of the week, before welcoming their guests to the stage.
Their first guest of the evening will be Chicago’s 44th Ward Alderman Bennett Lawson. Among other topics, the Alderman is set to address the growing presence of ICE nationwide and how Chicagoans can fight back; the 44th Ward’s economic rebound after the pandemic; how the 44th Ward hopes to attract new small businesses; and more.
To round out the night, Chicago folk singer Ross W Berman IV, a regular at The Green Mill’s Paper Machete, will perform a few of his hit songs and help bring the protest anthem vibe.
Tickets for this Sunday night’s live podcast recording are available at www.TheAnnoyance.com. The show will begin at 7 pm. Indivisible Chicago Wrigleyville will be available in the lobby starting at 6:30 pm and for roughly an hour after the show.
All episodes and content from Guerrilla Press can be found on our YouTube channel, Apple Podcast, Spotify, and all other major podcast platforms.
