Kat Abughazaleh Brutally Roasts 'Bridge Troll' Greg Gutfeld
Abughazaleh was the debut guest for Guerrilla Press, a new Chicago-based progressive independent media company
With his misogynistic takes and blind devotion to Donald Trump, FOX News host Greg Gutfeld has elevated himself to the top of the conservative comedy mountain. Along the way, Gutfeld has taken aim at many of the top progressive politicians and candidates across the country, often with an unhealthy fascination for the weight and menstrual cycles of women.
On the debut episode of Guerrilla Press, Illinois Congressional 9th District candidate, Kat Abughazaleh, weighed in on Gutfeld’s style of comedy.
“Greg Gutfeld is a bridge troll who works for Fox News,” she told co-hosts EJ Cameron and Nick Hausman. “He is approximately my height, and, this is not hating on our short kings, I’m trying to paint a picture here. He, straight up, does not know how to tell a joke. He wants nothing more than to be a comedian, but no one likes him.
“He does not know how to tell jokes, so instead, he just rhymes everything he says. When I said he was a great troll, I did not mean by height. I meant in the riddles he makes. One time for a whole week, I collected every single rhyme he said on air and then put it in a two and a half minute compilation on my YouTube. If you don’t look at my campaign site, at least look at that to give yourself a lobotomy.
“I hate him so much. He also hates me. Fuck Greg Gutfeld. He will never be a late-night host because FOX News airs his show at 7 pm Pacific time. I don’t care, Greg, if you think you’re a late-night host, you’re fucking not. Nobody likes you.”
Abughazaleh’s full interview can be found on the Guerrilla Press podcast feed and YouTube channel.

Refreshing to see someone calling out Gutfeld's formula so precisely. The obsevation about him rhyming instead of joking is spot on, once you notice it you can't unnotice it. I remeber watching his show once trying to figure out why the punchlines felt so forced, and realizing he's basicly playing word association rather than building actual comedic tension.
